SACRED HEART SCHOOL WADHURST

Music is an important part of school life and is taught by a specialist teacher. Children may sing in the church and in the school choir, and play in the school orchestra.

Private tuition can be arranged for piano, violin, flute, clarinet and guitar and pupils are entered for the Royal College of Music exams. Recorder club is a popular choice for many of our pupils.

Every year we present a musical evening where children are encouraged  to show off their musical talents. Music is a prominent part of our Christmas and end of year productions and we  also take our musicians to entertain the residents of Weald Hall, a local nursing home.
